MAX - MALE

Judy Worth at 281 358 9501

Max was adopted from Houston Humane by a couple of guys, returned to the Humane group, then readopted by them and then abandoned with a neighbor.  He's been vetted, is currently getting heartworm treatment and is recovering his health.

Max is a 3 year old male akita that was pretty emaciated and full of heartworms. He is up to 70 pounds now and has 1 more heartworm treatment shot to go and he will be heartworm free. He is neutered and up-to-date on shots. He is very friendly, loves to play and is amenable to anything you do to him and craves attention. He knows some commands and is  housetrained. He also smiles!!

If you are interested in adopting Max - please contact Judy Worth at 281 358 9501

YUKON - MALE

My name is Elaine Munch and I'm president of the Metroplex Animal Coalition (www.metroplexanimalcoalition.com). Our group runs a spay/neuter program for low income families in Dallas and I rescue dogs wherever I find them.
Sunday night I saw a very scared Akita near restaurants at West N.W. Hwy and Hwy 114. I have fed him 3 times since them and last night he would touch my hand when before he would always back away from me.

His ears are bitten by flies, hair falling out in pieces, but no signs of mange.

This dog is male, black and white with full black head. Should be about 100 lbs, but probably only about 65 or 70 now.
